I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1977. As a Registered Representative and Registered Principal (Series 7 & 24) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), I hold registrations in the State of Illinois for Life & Disability and Variable Contracts. Since 1982, I have been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a proud member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
In my career, I have had the honor of serving as President of the Southern Suburban International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP) from 1994 to 1995 and as a National Board member of the National Tax Sheltered Accounts Association (NTSAA) from 1996 to 1998, where I also held the position of President in 1998.
From 1982 through 1986, I taught Personal Finance and Investments courses in Adult Education at Daley College, sharing my passion for financial literacy with eager learners.
My journey in the 403(b) (TSA) marketplace began in 1979 with the Copeland Companies in Chicago. I was fortunate to be one of their top producers and managers from 1979 to 1986. In 1987, I relocated to California with United Resources and served as a manager until 1989. Shortly after that, I joined The Legend Group and returned to Chicago in 1990. By January 1995, I had expanded my knowledge into the 401(k) marketplace.
While this overview does not capture every detail of my career, I hope it provides you with a better understanding of my background and experience.
I operate under two fundamental premises: always act in the best interest of the client, and recognize that long-term success for both the client and myself is interlinked. If this were my money, I would want the most comprehensive information and the most prudent actions taken.
